How RulePack collects and uses account, registry, payment, and support data.
Information we collect
- GitHub login, email, display name, and avatar URL.
- Sessions, hashed CLI tokens, preferences, scopes, published content, and usage events.
- Stripe customer IDs, PaymentIntent IDs, saved payment method identifiers, brand, last four digits, expiration dates, billing history, and receipt URLs.
- Email addresses and message metadata needed for purchase receipts, support, and important notices.
- Standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps.
How we use information
- Authentication, account management, scope management, content delivery, search, and CLI integration.
- Processing paid purchases, confirming purchase status, granting access, and showing billing history and receipts.
- Sending purchase receipts, important notices, and support responses.
- Detecting and responding to abuse, rights violations, security risks, and legal obligations.
Third-party services
- GitHub for sign-in.
- Stripe for payment collection, saved payment methods, and receipts.
- SMTP/email providers for transactional email.
- Cloudflare and hosting/network providers for delivery, security, and operations.
Retention
- Account data is retained while the account exists.
- Published versions may remain available after account changes to preserve registry immutability.
- Payment, billing, and receipt records are retained as needed for accounting, tax, dispute, and legal compliance.
- Operational logs are retained for security and service operations for as long as reasonably needed.
Your choices
- You can manage display settings, language, theme, CLI tokens, and saved payment methods from settings.
- Use the support page (/support) to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal account data.
- If a published version includes personal data or secrets that should be removed, contact us promptly through the support page (/support).
